New to Meliora

Here's how to become a patient.

Meliora isn't a walk-in clinic. Every patient starts with a comprehensive lab draw and a 60-minute consultation with Dr. Chua — so that your care plan is built on your actual biology, not assumptions.

How it works

01

Request a consultation

Fill out a short new patient inquiry form. Our team reviews it and reaches back within one business day to schedule your lab draw appointment.

02

Lab draw at our office

We draw blood in-office — a comprehensive panel covering hormones, nutrients, thyroid, and metabolic markers. This happens at least 14 days before your consultation so Dr. Chua has time to review everything.

03

Your 60-minute consultation

A real conversation with Dr. Chua. She walks through your results against optimal ranges — not population averages — connects the findings to your symptoms, and builds your personalized treatment plan.

04

Your plan begins

Hormones, supplements, gut support, lifestyle adjustments — whatever your labs and symptoms point to. We follow up at five weeks, then every 6 to 12 weeks while we optimize, and every 3 to 6 months once you get there. Healing is iterative, and Dr. Chua monitors your response the whole way.

Your Consultation

A real conversation — wherever you are.

Most consultations happen face-to-face on a secure telehealth visit. You bring your questions; Dr. Chua brings your labs, your history, and a plan tailored to both.

Is this right for me?

Meliora is a good fit if any of these sound like you.

  • You've been told your labs are normal — but you don't feel normal
  • You're navigating perimenopause, menopause, or hormonal changes at any stage
  • You have fatigue, brain fog, low libido, poor sleep, or unexplained weight changes
  • You want a physician who looks for root causes, not just symptom management
  • You're ready to be thorough — this process requires a real lab draw and a real consultation

About Dr. Chua

Triple board-certified. One framework.

Dr. Rowena Chua is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Neurology, and Integrative Medicine. Her Neurology background is why the Meliora Method addresses the nervous system and brain-hormone connection in ways most integrative practices don't.

The Meliora Method™

Root causes, not symptom management.

The Meliora Method is a five-pillar framework covering hormones, nervous system, nutrition, gut health, and metabolic function. Every patient is evaluated across all five — because these systems don't fail in isolation.
