Some deficiencies can't be fixed with a pill.
When absorption is compromised or repletion needs to be fast, intravenous delivery bypasses the gut entirely. At Meliora, every flow is mixed fresh the same day and tailored to your labs — not a pre-bagged generic drip.
The Framework
Twelve years of practice, distilled into The Meliora Method.™
Tier 2
Support SystemsWhy intravenous delivery matters for some patients.
Oral supplements have to survive your digestive system before they can reach your cells. If your gut is inflamed, if you have low stomach acid, if absorption is compromised by medications or chronic illness — you may be taking supplements that aren't actually working. IV delivery bypasses this entirely: nutrients go directly into the bloodstream at 100% bioavailability.
For some patients, IV therapy is the most efficient path to repletion — particularly those with significant B12 deficiency, very low vitamin D, compromised gut function, or high demand states like illness recovery or intensive training.
At Meliora, IV therapy is a clinical tool — not a wellness amenity. We use it when labs indicate it's the most effective delivery method for your specific deficiencies. Every protocol is reviewed against your current lab values and clinical picture.
Directed by your labs
When we have measured something.
These correct a deficiency we can point to on your panel. Both are mixed fresh the same day, both are built from your own lab values, and both are followed by a recheck — because a treatment nobody measures is a treatment nobody can learn from.
Iron Flow
Iron repletion for measured low ferritin or iron deficiency anemia. Iron sucrose infused over 20 to 30 minutes, with vitamin C and B12 to support absorption and red blood cell formation. We recheck your ferritin afterward to confirm it worked.
Requires a current ferritin and Dr. Chua's review before it is scheduled.
Repletion Flow
An individualized micronutrient infusion — B vitamins, methylcobalamin, magnesium, amino acids and antioxidants — in proportions adjusted to you rather than mixed to a fixed recipe.
Chosen for a situation
Targeted infusions.
These are chosen for a clinical situation rather than for a number on a panel. For each one we will tell you what it is for, and what the evidence behind it does and does not support.
Feel Better Flow
For an active cold, flu, or viral illness. High-dose vitamin C with zinc, magnesium, B vitamins and glutamine. Most useful during the illness itself rather than as prevention.
NAD Flow
Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, 250 to 1,000 mg, infused slowly and titrated to tolerance. NAD has a genuine role in cellular energy and DNA repair. The human evidence behind the broader claims made for it is still thin, and we will tell you that before you book rather than after.
The Meliora Difference
Your protocol, built from your labs.
Most IV bars hand you a pre-bagged generic drip. We don't. Every flow at Meliora is mixed fresh the same day and can be refined with Dr. Chua against your current lab values and clinical picture — so what goes into the bag is what your body actually needs.
- Mixed fresh the same day — never pre-bagged or sitting ready-made
- Reviewed against your hormones, nutrient panel, and inflammation markers
- Adjusted between sessions as your levels rebuild
- Delivered in a calm, private setting — not an open lounge

IV therapy is most valuable for:
Patients with compromised absorption
GI conditions, low stomach acid, post-surgical changes, or medication interactions that impair nutrient absorption from oral supplementation.
Patients with significant deficiencies
When labs show severe depletion — B12 below 200, vitamin D below 20 — IV delivery gets levels up faster than oral supplementation alone.
Patients in high-demand states
Illness recovery, post-surgical healing, intensive athletic training, or periods of high physiological stress that accelerate nutrient depletion.
Patients who need faster results
Some clinical situations benefit from the speed of IV delivery — particularly when hormonal treatment is underway and nutrient cofactors need to be in place quickly to support it.
What to Expect
What to expect.
01
Lab review
We review your current nutrient labs before recommending IV therapy. If you don't have recent labs, we'll draw them as part of your initial assessment.
02
In-office infusion
Our IV suite is comfortable and private. Infusions typically take 30–90 minutes depending on the protocol. You can read, work, or rest during the infusion.
03
Monitoring and repeat
We track your lab response over time and adjust frequency and formulation based on how your levels respond. IV therapy is not indefinite — the goal is to achieve stable levels that oral supplementation can maintain.
Common questions.
Is IV therapy safe?
IV nutrient therapy is well-tolerated by most patients. All protocols are reviewed against your labs and health history before administration. Minor side effects (cool sensation, mild fatigue) are possible. Serious adverse events are rare with appropriate clinical oversight.
How often would I need IV therapy?
This depends on your labs and clinical picture. Some patients benefit from an initial intensive series of weekly infusions, then transition to monthly maintenance. Others need a short course only. We'll build a plan based on your specific situation.
Do I need to be an established Meliora patient?
Yes. IV therapy at Meliora is for established patients only. We don't give an infusion to someone whose labs, medical history, and medication list we don't know — iron infusion, high-dose vitamin C, and NAD each carry real considerations that require knowing your clinical picture. That restriction isn't gatekeeping; it's the reason the infusion is worth having.
What does an infusion cost?
It depends on which infusion, and for the Repletion Flow on what your labs call for. We go through cost with you before anything is scheduled — you won't be surprised on the day.
How is this different from wellness IV bars?
Commercial IV bars hand out pre-bagged drips that sit ready-made on a shelf, chosen from a menu by how you feel that day. At Meliora, every infusion is mixed fresh the same day, requires that we know your labs and history first, and is followed by a recheck. We also say no more often than we say yes.
