Referral Network
We know when to refer — and who to refer to.
Integrative medicine doesn't mean doing everything in one office. It means coordinating care intelligently — and when your needs extend beyond our scope, we refer to clinicians we trust and communicate with directly.
Coordinated care, not isolated care.
At Meliora, we treat within our scope and refer beyond it. Our scope includes hormonal, metabolic, and integrative medicine — and we are very good at it. But some clinical situations require imaging specialists, surgeons, psychiatrists, rheumatologists, or other experts. We maintain relationships with trusted clinicians across specialties and refer with clinical context — not just a name.
When we refer, we communicate. You don't get a name on a piece of paper. You get context: why we're referring, what we've found, and what we're asking the specialist to evaluate. Your care stays coordinated.
What We Coordinate
Your care network, managed with intention.
Specialty Medical Referrals
Endocrinology, gynecology, rheumatology, psychiatry, cardiology, and others as clinically indicated. We refer to physicians who understand the integrative medicine framework.
Imaging & Diagnostics
When imaging is warranted (bone density confirmation, pelvic ultrasound, thyroid ultrasound), we coordinate with appropriate facilities and review results in the context of your clinical picture.
Complementary Providers
Acupuncture, physical therapy, psychotherapy, and health coaching — we maintain referral relationships with practitioners whose work complements ours.
Pharmacy Relationships
Compounding pharmacies for bioidentical hormone preparations, and standard pharmacies for all other prescriptions. We work with pharmacies that understand our protocols.
Who Benefits
You stay at the center of your care.
Patients with complex or multi-specialty needs
When your clinical picture spans multiple disciplines, we coordinate your care rather than leaving you to navigate it alone.
Patients seeking integrated referrals
Patients who want to continue working with Meliora while receiving specialty care. We stay in the loop and incorporate specialist findings into your ongoing treatment.
Common questions.
Do you accept referrals from other physicians?
Yes. We receive referrals from primary care physicians and specialists who recognize the value of integrative hormonal and metabolic care for their patients.
Will my referring provider be kept in the loop?
With your consent, we communicate with your referring provider and any specialists involved in your care. Coordinated care produces better outcomes.
